Yes. Our Flomaster macerator pumps are designed to help you meet the requirements for self-containment certification in New Zealand. They allow for the efficient discharge of waste tanks into authorised dump stations, ensuring your RV or tiny home remains compliant with local regulations.
The Flomaster range is powerful enough to pump waste horizontally over significant distances (up to 20–30 metres depending on hose diameter) and can handle a vertical lift (head) of up to 3 metres. This makes them ideal for pumping from a low-mounted tank up into a portable tote or a higher dump station inlet.
While many NZ DIYers install these systems themselves in campervans and boats, we recommend consulting a professional if you are unsure about your plumbing layout. It is critical to ensure all connections are airtight and that you use the correct wire gauge for the 12V/24V power supply to prevent voltage drop.
